The Start Of A New Year

     My New Year's Eve outfit. I've been waiting to wear this
     skirt! Sorry, this post is a day late because I didn't have
     internet.. That, and I was up all night with friends and didn't
     get the chance to post! Well, here's to the new year! Thank
     you all for supporting my journey. I'm really looking forward
     to 2014 and so far, its been amazing. I'm writing this from a

Looking Back At 2013

      I've pulled together some of my favorite outfits of 2013!
      I traveled so many places and experienced new things.
      Theres a story behind every photograph up there. I think
      2013 was the best year so far and I'm hopeful for 2014!

Holiday

     Holiday party dressing has never been my best event.
     This is where my trusted blouse and maroon coated
     jeans come in. I also found this scarf at Old Navy. I
     was going to give it as a gift to a friend, but ended up
     keeping it for myself because I couldn't let go of it. I'm
     probably on the naughty list for that one!

Grey and Black

     I can't get enough of grey and black ensembles this
     winter. I always fall back to neutrals when it gets cold
     outside. Anyone else have this problem? I dress to what
     the sky looks like. Luckily in Los Angeles, it only stays
     cold for a couple months. Then its back to sunny skies
     and trademark California weather.

     I remember having a cardigan of every color
     in my closet. They were slowly passed down to
     my sisters, but they were really convenient when I
     needed a little bit of warmth or a pop of color under
     another jacket. I'm slowly building up my cardigan
     collection again and this one from Old Navy is my
     favorite right now. Its just long enough so it'll peek
     out under a jacket and it's so easy to throw on for
     the not-so-cold fall days in California.
